This place has seen better days but if you want this location you won't find cheaper.

Room was very large and spacious. It is located in a tourist hot spot together with top end resorts which cost much more money. Nice walk to the beach. Good wifi. Small kitchenette.

It is a quite cheap resort compared to all the other resorts in the same area but alas you get what you pay for. The property is run down and old, in desperate need of renovations. The fountains in the front are no longer running. One of the letters in the hotel name on the hotel has fallen off. It seems it was a nice place years ago but never kept up. The pool was a big disappointment. I booked because it said outdoor seasonal pool. Well, that season is one month per year on a semi tropical island. Even Canada has a longer season for their outdoor pools. Booking.com should list the season dates for the pool which are July 20 to August 18 only. The pool was filled with leaves and debris. The nearby hotels still had their outdoor pools open (1st week of Sept). The lawns were not mowed and the gardens unkempt and overgrown. The balconies were made of metal and rusting. The rooms could use new paint/wallpaper. Kitchen cupboards were broken and didn't close properly. Fridge was old and noisy. Sparsely furnished. Mosquito net on window had a hole in it. Shower had almost no pressure and hose leaked. No bathroom amenities at all. You won't get anything else this cheap in this location but worth it to pay the same for a much nicer property further away and walk or take bus.

The apartment was really clean, the bed was comfortable, everywhere around the air-condition system was really helpful. Staff was friendly and helpful, they organize taxi, dinner, give map and instruction where to go for a tour/volcanoes.

Kitchen maybe with electric water boiler would be helpful instead of gas-cooker.

Amazing location but very dated rooms

The location was amazing to the beach and all the major museums (teddy bear, alive, ripleys, hello kitty, etc.). The staff was very friendly.

The hotel was dated and the rooms are in major need of repair! The kitchens area especially was in need of major renovation.

Sketchy hotel in a beautiful location

Great location

Didn't match the photos...very old and run down, overgrown grass, empty pool, shabby interior (cabinets in room all broken...changed rooms from a leak) peeling paint etc

Underwhelming and Dissapointing

The view was gorgeous; ten years ago this place was great.

The rooms were very run down. They have not invested in upkeep AT ALL. The floors were uneven and the finish of the floor was vinyl, laid over broken tile; you could see the broken tile outlines very clearly. The smell of bug spray hits your nose the second you walk inside. There are no amenities (no shampoo or soap) and the towels are a hand-towel-size, not a full bath towel. The shower is a traditional Korean shower, meaning a hand-held shower head and a tub without a curtain or an anchor for the shower head. The kitchenette was very depressed and old; given the sad shape of the room and obvious lack of maintenance I was nervous to use the gas oven, which had an external gas line with an on/off valve. The pool was abandoned and obviously hadn't been used in a few years, complete with peeling paint and rotten tiles. The website stated the pool was "seasonally open"- the season hadn't come in a while! The breakfast was very underwhelming, no western options like croissants or even fruit. We went to e-Mart and bought muffins and cheese for a fraction of the price (breakfast was going to be an additional 24,000 Won per day whereas muffins and cheese were a mere 14,000 won for four mornings, total.) The fridge was helpful and the linens seemed clean. Were it not for a clean bed and a great view I would have left.

Great stay and convenient location

Nice place to stay since lot many places nearby to visit including falls. If you are in group and looking for reasonable price, this is definitely recommended. The main advantage is that you can catch a airport limousine(bus no: 600) which drops close by and walkable distance to this hotel. From airport via bus it takes around 40-45 mins max to reach this place. Bus fare cost is 4500 KWN(per person as on date May 02, 2018). Buses are available on regular intervals between 15-20 minutes. The reception people are very helpful. There is a monkey beach pub which is just walkable distance from here. Even Teddy bear museum, Ripley's believe it or not museum, chocolate land are all walkable distance. There are some good restaurants nearby as well. The room is kind of old(or may be our room didn't had bright lights), but that should not be a problem since we only considered sleeping at night and whole day we roamed around. Overall good experience. The morning breakfast is optional and you can pay and opt it. Would definitely recommend anyone visiting nearby places to stay here. Cost of taxi fare from this place - This hotel to Hallim Park - 25000 KWN This hotel to Seongpanak trail - 30000 KWN

The bathroom and main doors were not sealed properly when you close them. We still felt that the door may open sometimes. The lights may be dimmer(may be this depends on the room). By default there are no shampoo or gels in rest room. However, when you checked with the reception they did handover it. Well, it should have been kept in advance before we ask. Other that I don't think there is any other issue.
